Summer Vacation

So here I am near the end of my two week summer vacation! What a great rest it has been! Dan and I took off to Oregon for 8 days at the beginning and had an amazing time. We celebrated our anniversary on August 2 and were blessed by having two nights paid for in really nice hotels! It's a wonderful example of the small blessings that we are given! We camped for the other nights, had bonfires at the beach, breakfast at the pig and pancake, visited our wedding site and then Dustin & Jayd and Mark & Heidi came down for the weekend. It was great to have friends there to walk around with and of course Mark persuaded me into skim boarding in the extremley cold water! Jaydene even tried it and I think she has found here new hobby! Heidi cooked some great pancakes for breakfast after an exciting and hilarious game of scrabble the night before!
During this past week I went up to Kelowna for the day on Wednesday to see some friends from Calgary and Saskatoon that I haven't seen in over a year. We had a great time with both of their new 3 month old boys as we just hung around and went for dinner!
I actually feel rested and even though I am NOT looking forward to going back to work on Monday I think I am definatley re-energized to get me through till Christmas!
