Doing the tourist thing

Happy Thanksgiving! Last weekend was a beautiful weekend filled with turkey and friends. Friday I met Heather at the airport and we went out for coffee and a much appreciated chat at Starbucks. On Sunday we made dinner at my house (no I didn't do the turkey, it merely was cooked in my oven) and had 8 people for dinner. We stuffed ourselves and then sat around and chatted while our turkey settled. Saturday morning we did our annual trek to the Apple Barn for apples and pumpkins. It was a gorgeous morning and of course I am rubbing that in to all of you who don't live here! Then on Monday we took our bikes into Vancouver with Tony and Monica and biked around the sea wall. Dan bailed in front of about 30 people who loudly gave him a cheer and Tony almost ended up in the ocean! Other than that we made it back in one piece! (My bike is another story, it now is missing both the front and back fenders!) I think fall is one of my favorite times of year!

Carly,
It looks like you guys had a great time over the long weekend. I didn't know that you guys annually go and pick apples and pumpkins. That is so fun.
HAH!!! I knew you were doing something fun without me!! Grrrrr
