What happens in Abbotsford when it snows
So Dan and I drove from our house to Canadian Tire this afternoon (about 10km) and I just happened to have the camera with me to catch some of the more crazy things that happened in the snow!
Maybe he should get snow tires for his bike!
Shorts?!! All for the sake of fashion!
This guy was hitch hiking in the middle of town at five corners!
This is what happens when five cars try to go up a slippery hill without snow tires! If you look really close at the top you can see that one of them is ponted backwards! We tried to go around a different way but ended up running into three cars who just decided to stop when they couldn't get up the hill. Has any one ever thought of getting out and trying to push?

Hi Carley! I checked out your blog today and just had to laugh. The world really does go crazy when it snows in the Fraser Valley. The news is kind of comical. But this really is atypical. Anyway, I just wanted to say that one of my friends is a cycler, and he does indeed have snow tires for his bike that he put on yesterday so that he could go for a ride. He was so excited! Oh, and great new ride! Love Yoda!
Looks like quite the snowstorm! I love the snow, especially the thick layer of snow on the trees and the sound of snow crunching under your boots. However, after an experience of hitting ice and then slidding into a snow bank on a busy overpass, I have turned into a ridiciously paranoid driver who is just wishing the snow and ice away! Anyway hope you're enjoying the winter season!
